OSU has some nice wins and a brutal schedule (like everyone in the Big 12). I think once the committee puts these teams side by side, they will definitely be in.I posted in "Bracket Discussion" thread ... perhaps it's a no-brainer, but Wisconsin, North Carolina and Michigan are going to be OUT.
Oklahoma State is teetery -- losing to UT doesn't hurt anything, but could use asap losses by Arizona State and Utah State ... might be able to leap Nevada (another "dead" team in context of league tourneys)
All those should be out. Okie state should be inI posted in "Bracket Discussion" thread ... perhaps it's a no-brainer, but Wisconsin, North Carolina and Michigan are going to be OUT.

Dozens of people in the arena witnessed it too.Ref just took away a free throw from Arizona State for taking too long to shoot. Haven’t seen that enforced since the 1980s. To top it off, I only counted four on the replay so it was a bad call on top of it not typically being enforced.
Funny that you mentioned it. The first time I ever noticed a ref counting out on a free throw attempt was Saturday. I've been watching basketball for forty years. Not sure how that escaped me.Ref just took away a free throw from Arizona State for taking too long to shoot. Haven’t seen that enforced since the 1980s. Penn State should be in either way, Wisconsin and Michgian out for sure.NET update: ISU up to 17th (KU at 8, UT at 9, Baylor at 14, KSU at 23, WVU at 24, TCU at 27, OSU at 42).
B1G "bubble" teams of note (allegedly competing with OSU for a spot): Penn State at 54, Michigan at 58, Wisconsin at 81!
Agree, their non-conference was a joke and they have two bad losses to Southern Illinois and UCF.Joe Lunardi has Oklahoma State in his last four in. I don’t think so. Tonight was a must win vs. Texas and they didn’t get it done.
All of those teams would have a worse record with OSU's scheduleAgree, their non-conference was a joke and they have two bad losses to Southern Illinois and UCF.
Most of their big 12 wins were beating up on us twice, Oklahoma, and Tech. They were 0-8 against the top 4. That's a NIT resume if I've ever seen one.
Penn State, Rutgers, Utah State , Clemson should all be ahead of them in the bubble order.
That's an unsubstantiated theory. All of those teams would have a worse record with OSU's schedule
They have two big guards/wings that are fun to watch, and could cause some problems against some teams. Not a whole lot going on after that.I don't mind Penn State getting in. They don't make it very often and I like the stories of guys just having a chance in the event. Their coach has some good things going in year 2.
They're not great by any means but I can see them hanging with a lot of teams and having a chance.
When did Northwestern enter the conversation? Pre-injury Rutgers, maybeThat's an unsubstantiated theory.
Rutgers and Norhtwestern both have defenses just as good as Oklahoma State with bad offenses. One could argue either of those teams could get to 8 wins in the Big 12.
And besides, Penn State sends us a lot of good transfers.I don't mind Penn State getting in. They don't make it very often and I like the stories of guys just having a chance in the event. Their coach has some good things going in year 2.
