Remember, the B1G is a meat grinder...probably will cause a number of teams to lose early in the big dance. And don't forget the balls.

Yeah 4 or 5 days off is just not enough time and it's weird how the 'but what about the basketball brand?' doesn't seem to be a very popular excuse elsewhere.

This is true. The offenses are so worn out by March. Playing against such bad defenses really increases the number of possessions per game. You just get tired running up and down the floor with only 10 seconds of the shot clock ever used. It's absolutely exhausting. Thankfully, you do have those 10 seconds on defense to rest up a bit as your man blows by you. But it's OK, cause you'll blow by his ole defense on the other end of the court.

Marquette was so close to losing to St. John's today.
UCONN v. Providence should be a good one.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa lose today.

There is one more outcome that would make this day totally outstanding.

WVU is 1-7 from three and looks pretty disinterested today. KU should be up more, but they have been kinda sloppy as well. I think KU will roll them in the second half unless WVU can come out of halftime and punch KU in the mouth and throw them off.
