The you can't go to post season tourneys or bowl games for 4 years after moving up might be the dumbest rule ever.Merrimack wins the NEC championship. Too bad they can’t go to the tourney

I've never heard someone say what the reason is but I can't think of any good one.Just seems completely arbitrary and even a bit capricious. No logic behind it.
As much I think Charleston deserved at large if they lost tonight...now that's moot. And I hope we don't face them haha. That's a team that I'll likely have winning their first game...
100% agree all around.Yeah, I don't care how mediocre their conference might be; any time you win 31 games that tells me you have a pretty damn good team.
I find myself usually cheering for the top seeds in the low to mid-major conference tournaments because I think it creates a better overall NCAA tournament to have the best teams in there from all the conferences. I'm glad that Charleston took care of business and didn't leave it in the hands of the committee.
I haven't heard someone say capricious since Jackie Chiles said it to Cosmo Kramer.Just seems completely arbitrary and even a bit capricious. No logic behind it.
I personally think Gonzaga is a bad matchup for them. St. Mary's has a top ten defense and their offense is top 35 or so I think. They deserve a 5 seed IMO. Last year they were a 5 and absolutely destroyed 12 seed Indiana.St Mary’s isn’t making a great argument for those who are giving them a nice seed
Maybe they had an off night last night against St. Thomas. I watched them and had no idea why they were a trendy upset pick. I'll check them out now...Oral Roberts looking really good at the moment. They have a kid who's 7'5 (!). I've seen a couple of projections with us playing them in the ole' 5 vs. 12 1st round match up. From what I'm seeing right now there are a lot of other teams I'd rather play.

Interesting. They were lucky to beat a new DI team in St. Thomas last night. They've put up 51 points in the first half and are leading by 31 at halftime.
I’ve watched them a few times this year, and haven’t been terribly impressed. Great defense, but really susceptible to bad stretches of offense, and not athletic at all. If they get blown out and other teams around them win a couple in their tourney's they'll drop to a 6 or 7 for sure.I’ve watched them a few times this year, and haven’t been terribly impressed. They definitely look better tonightThey've put up 51 points in the first half and are leading by 31 at halftime.
