Not going to lie, earlier this week I wanted Michigan to win but as more of them showed up talking garbage it made me want them to lose, and lose hard. Resurgent Michigan fans are red blooded pri*cks.

If ISU is just beating a bunch of horrible teams.... nope.... the Big 12 will never be good. That's just the way it is.
Well hell, I guess I wiuldn't mind if ISU was the Big 12s regular representative in the final 4 and the playoffs. I will allow that for sure.
But, as a backup plan, I'd say we should be the man once every 5 years or so and be competitive with everyone in the Big 12 that always has someone that MAKES ESPN talk about them and the Big 12.
Why do we hear about 3/4 of the SEC? Because of Alabama for the most part. And now, it's Georgia.
Anyone else have to explain to their parents every year that the Rose Bowl is no longer the championship game and hasn't been for years?
Is ISU leading the way this year? NO!
So we root for the others that help the conference.
If ISU were playing and when they are we are all for ISU. But I don't think you get that by the Big 12 doing well it is actually good for ISU. This is why we root for Big 12 teams. We want the conference to succeed. To look better than other conferences. To get more money. To get more exposure. So now and in the future the conference is believed to be a good conference. For the value of the conference and its teams....INCLUDING ISU.
We all want ISU to Lead the way! But we also want things to happen to help that happen, but to root for the conference to fail and lose, is only rooting for the demise of ISU and its conference. Anyway, thats all I got, not going to keep beating a dead horse.
If you're good enough, long enough, the media will ultimately give you grudging respect.

Georgia is not the end all be all this year like they have been made out to be. They are definitely not as as good as last year. I thought Michigan would be the team to take them out, but Ohio State will do!
