Yet it's not impossible either is all I'm saying. With Cook and controlling the clock, you can neutralize a lot of talented teams.
To be fair, for most of the game last night, Cook was fairly neutralized himself.
Agree - though he still had enough carries and chewed up enough clock that gave Cousins less time to pull a "Cousins"
This really sucks. Like I want to get excited about this team but there’s just way to many glaring holes to be pumped up about them. Sure it’s great they’re winning but damn it this might prevent them from doing what they need to do.
Cousins was great last night. Thielen caused a pick and almost a second. His incompletions were pretty much all throw aways drops and one ball was a pretty good throw but was a tremendous play by Fuller to knock it away from AT.
Yeah, that pick was actually a really good throw.
Cousins looks more like the guy we saw in the second half of last year. I still don't trust him game to game, but he's been pretty good the last couple.
When the Vikes OL holds up and Cousins can make the called pass, he's not bad. They still need to draft a O-lineman in the first round and keep building.
Happy that Jefferson is proving out his pick. Gladney will continue to get better.
Hope the Vikes take a look at Book in the second or third round. Not sure where he's projected.

And the offense is the worst. Best scenario is the lose the rest and draft a quarterback. Anybody but what hey have.

I listened to the game on the radio in my car and in the 4th qtr, Kurt Warner didn't know they had come back from commercial and I heard him say "man, this Bears offense sucks." The other announcer started laughing and knew that got on the air so he told Kurt "settle down over there." It was hilarious, but I feel bad for Chuck Bruce having to be in such a bad offense and not really being able to play his game.

The Vikes obviously need to draft a QB but I'm not sure who is going to be in that 2-3 round area.
Never been a big Book fan, but with the year he's having he has improved his 5th round pre-season slot considerably.
I don’t think they draft a QB until ‘22, because of Cousins’ contract.
Fix the dang OL and add another WR, Spielman, then you can shop for QB’s.
