I think it is pretty much common knowledge at this point. The Chiefs new about all of his off the field stuff, TMZ got the video, he got caught in a lie, they released him to save face. This is the same organization that had a domestic abuser linebacker kill himself in the parking lot, after the team wouldn't let him into the facility to kill Jamal Charles.

So the chiefs knew he was lying? They should have known belcher was going to kill his girlfriend and himself?

If I had a nickel for every time ESPN talked about someone other than QBs or the Top 5 picks over the last 2 months, I'd have about 15 cents.

Good grief I'm tired of hearing about kyler murray

And during the CFB season all they talk about is Bama and Clemson.

If I had a nickel for every second of ESPN TV I’ve watched outside of a live sporting event in the past decade I’d have no nickels.

I don't see the Giants taking Jones at #6. I think at #6 they go DL, maybe Clelin Ferrell. Then at #17 I think they go OL, Jawaan Taylor or Jonah Williams. I think Gettleman is all in on Eli for now.
I just have a feeling they are going to do something stupid. Eli is in the final year of his contract so they want someone they can groom for a year. Personally I would take Haskins or Lock, but from what I am hearing, they like Jones. He will probably be available at pick 17, but if he's your guy then don't risk it and take him at #6. If I were their GM, I would go with a pass rusher at #6 and then see what's available at 17 for a QB. Taylor will be gone by then and Jonah Williams might be as well, but Andre Dillard would be a great pick at 17.

Coach Shurmer's son is a QB and could be a late round pick. Maybe they take him late and then take a franchise guy next year in a class that should be loaded at QB.

Well your instincts are sharp there.

Every time I look at a mock draft I immediately start getting nervous for Butler and Montgomery! That said...I am a Steelers fan and they have plenty of needs so they could go a few different ways on defense...but at #20 the difference-makers will be gone! Ugh!
I have been hearing that the Steelers love Rock Ya-Sin (CB from Temple) and plan on taking him with pick 20. Not sure if that is true or not, but it would be a solid pick.
