As a Bears fan, I'm going to sit back in the first round and remind myself that there probably isn't anybody you could get mid-late first round (or second round) who's anywhere close to being as good as Mack. Also, I hope they somehow manage to draft Butler or Montgomery.

I have been hearing that the Steelers love Rock Ya-Sin (CB from Temple) and plan on taking him with pick 20. Not sure if that is true or not, but it would be a solid pick.

Ugh. It feels like the Steelers lately have been thinking they are smarter than everyone else. If they pass up one of the consensus top corners for Rock Ya-Sin, who I think would be available in the 2nd, I will be skeptical.

Edmunds was ok last year, but he was a reach in the 1st round.

I'd rather see the Steelers trade down if they don't get one of the top CBs/MLBs that they want, THEN get Rock Ya-Sin and more picks.

It's hard when you are always drafting in the 20s or higher, but I would like to see the Steelers get a no doubt first round stud one of these years.

I really like your draft. I hope teams go crazy trading up and reaching on QBs so the top CBs can fall to the Steelers like you mocked.

It's crazy. Every year it seems there is at least one or two reaches for QBs. Last year was kind of an anomaly because there were multiple no doubt first round guys, so not as many seemingly second round talents jumped up.

Murphy or Baker would be a good get for a corner. I haven't heard of Rock Ya-Sin, but I don't really like the sound of this. Unfortunately, I think they draft Rock due to the fact that they did the exact same thing last year. Our organization was set on a specific player, but others weren't too high on him.

One thing about the Steelers...their picks/favorites never leak! So...I would guess the Rock thing is maybe an attempt to cover their true intentions. Or if he really is the player they are set on...it could be a signal to other organizations that they are willing to trade back if a team wanted to make a deal?

Jones and Lock are going to be this year's beneficiaries of QB supply and demand. Too many teams, not enough good quarterbacks. Neither one of those two has any business going in Round One and here we are with the distinct possibility that both are off the board in the top ten.

I was watching a GM's pre-draft presser the other day and he was talking about how wildly teams' boards are going to vary from around pick 15 all the way to pick 70 or so. You might see a guy mostly mocked in the second or third round (like Rock Ya-Sin) going in the first round. I got the impression that several teams will be criticized for reaching for a player by the end of the first round tonight.

This is my exact same thought, except I'm a Chiefs fan. They weren't getting a player of Frank Clark's caliber at 29 this year or in next year's 2nd round.

Steve Mariucci thinks the first round will take 19 defensive players and four QBs. If the draft really goes that way, Trader Rick will move back and the Vikes take Bradbury in the mid 20s.

Interior linemen are boring picks, but usually pretty safe. Vikes fans will riot if Spielman doesn't address the o-line early and often in this draft.

Agree. Bradbury is considered the best center in the draft and 'bust free' by most. Elf graded out badly at C, so I hope Bradbury is the guy. It would be great if Trader Rick takes a T in the second round but he'll probably go DT.

I think ideally they get Bradbury, slot him in at C, and kick Elflein over to one of the guard spots.

I had hoped that the Redskins will be smart here and draft another top available offensive lineman. When I say I hope.....that means what I think they'll actually do is something stupid like drafting DK Mitchell or a QB here which is even dumber at this point. I really hope they don't give up picks to trade up.
