News to me. I didn't even know he was a free agent. But I guess I'm excused since I'm not a Packers fan.

yeah that happened about a month or go i think now. I'll miss him as a Packer for mostly sentimental reasons since he's had a few bear killer games but not much other then that the past few years.

Neither am I. But I found it ironic when the "We" guy called out someone for not spelling a name correctly, then in his next post displayed his ignorance about his own team. "We". Ha.

Look harder bro, it was highlight in BOLD. But a joke is a joke, maybe I'll tread lightly next time.

Maybe Jacobs from Alabama. He's the only RB getting any first round buzz (which I don't get at all, but whatever).

He's pretty good and might be the first RB taken, but I doubt it will be in round 1. He's not THAT much better than Montgomery, if at all, and most teams know this. They can wait until the late 2nd or 3rd round and get a similar player.

Doubtful that Sweat falls to 12. I've seen Hockenson to the Packers in several mocks and I wouldn't like that for Green Bay at all. Nothing against the player; I just think that's a little too high for a jack of all trades TE. If you could get him in the 20s it's much better value.

Apparently several teams have crossed Sweat off their list(s) because of supposed heart issues. Probably all depends on a pre-draft physical, if they gave him one.

"We"? You shouldn't use that term when you don't even know your own team. Cobb is a Cowboy.

Yeahhh, that might have slipped my mind. Regardless, he still slipped the last couple of years. But, outside of Adams, my point still stands. Both Allison and Valdes-Scantling can show flashes, but I'm not sold on them.

I'm hoping the Steelers can get one of the top MLB or CB prospects without having to trade up. Hopefully they can get someone that can help the defense from year one.

Agree. If a RB playing at BAMA surrounded by all of that elite talent doesn't have noticeably superior measurables or stats, there's no way I'd take him before a guy at a non-blueblood who could get the same done without being surrounded by 5* talent.

I’m in Browns country now and they appear to be targeting Hooker from the Hoks. They gave up #17 for OBJ so don’t pick until #60.

Speaking of Drafts, 30 years ago today. Pretty good watch:

Vikings fan here: It's gotta be OL in the first round, but I'm hoping we also draft for quality depth. I'm kind of underwhelmed by the players available, so I'm hoping there are still some skill players or pass rushers that teams later on in the draft would be willing to make a deal for Minnesota's #18.

I could see Indianapolis wanting to make a move up (from #26) and they have the draft capital to make a move (two picks in both Rounds 2 & 4). Say what you will about Rick Spielman, but he has been impressive on draft day.
If the right LT is there, you don’t trade down. Won’t get a second chance in this draft.

I'd love for the Pack to get Sweat at #12, but I think he'll be gone, so I hope they take Brian Burns from FSU there.

At 30, I think they should take the best OT available. Grab a TE in the 2nd round or later IMO.
