Im hoping for a offensive tackle and a Wide Receiver. We just spend a ton of money in Free agency on the defensive line. I am not sure who can be the 2nd receiver after losing Cobb. Maybe even Hakim Butler in the 2nd round.

I also see Butler going later second and Montgomery going in the 3rd or 4th. That is just my opinion on those two. I have not really checked out lately what the experts are saying.

Im so excited about both Za'Darius and Preston Smith this next year. I wouldn't mind them picking up Oliver if he's still around and really make that Dline a force for years to come.

I really think Butler would be an awesome pickup for us too.. Allison has played well but still not what i'd call a clear #2 WR although has been known to get open when needed. I haven't been super impressed with Scantling or St. Brown but Rodgers loves to throw those long balls and Butler can catch those.

Sorry if there's already a thread for the draft this week, I didn't see one.

I'm a Packers fan, so I'll start there.

With their 2 first round picks I'd like to see them go with an Edge Rusher and an OT. If they take a QB in the 1st round, which some are saying they should, then I give up.

If they are going to have a shot at a another Super Bowl while Rodgers is still somewhat at the top of his game, they need to do it in the next couple of years. Sure, they will eventually need someone to take over for Rodgers, but you don't waste a 1st round pick on another QB when you need to win NOW.

What they probably should do at QB is offer the Cardinals a 3rd or 4th round pick for Rosen. He could eventually take over for Rodgers IMO.

I think LB/Edge for their first pick is ideal. Some have TE mocked there, please no. I've also seen that they worked out Q. Williams, while some have said that's far-fetched, I'd guess they'd trade up and deal both their 1st round picks. They made some off season moves on the defense, so I wouldn't mind seeing them go after a RB R2. I like Jones, but am not a believer in JWilliams. They could always use OL, but I think their biggest need is LB. Rosen wouldn't be a bad move, but I'm guessing they won't want to pay for him, so they'll try and get him on the cheap, but likely would be unsuccessful.

Yeah, if Pack can steal a solid WR that'd be great. I'm not sold on anyone past Adams. Cobb had slouched.

Haven't been following that closely. Any chance one of our guys goes in the first round?

Butler maybe. Montgomery almost definitely not. You never know, though. Rashaad Penny was generally thought of as a second or third round pick last year before the draft and the Seahawks took him late in the first.

Packers fan. My wish list is Montez Sweat at #12, and then Gutey packages his second 1st rounder with the second rounder, trading up to get Hockinson. I'm convinced he is a plug-and-play guy, and with LaFleur determined to feature the running game, we'll need a TE who is both willing and able to block.

Alternative: Jonah Williams as a Day 1 RG, keep Bulaga for one more year and then try to find a RT.

Thanks to the guys Gutey signed in FA, the edge isn't nearly the problem it might have been, but you can't pass up pass rush talent. After a QB, it's probably the most important part of the team.

I think Allison is more of a system receiver. Not really a 2nd. Adams will do a great job again if he don't get hurt. It's funny someone said that I really "Knownothing" but other Packer fans seem to agree with what they want also. So I guess I might know something in this case.

That's all you got? You don't even tell me why? Just talking crap? Got it. Next time be smart and have a take on why someone might "Knownothing". Otherwise you are the idiot. WEll I guess you are anyway for your worthless comment.

You misspelled Hakeem. He bolded it. Not the worst offense honestly.

Doubtful that Sweat falls to 12. I've seen Hockenson to the Packers in several mocks and I wouldn't like that for Green Bay at all. Nothing against the player; I just think that's a little too high for a jack of all trades TE. If you could get him in the 20s it's much better value.

I agree and i swear it's not a bias against the Hawks. I just personally don't see him being that much of a game changer anytime soon. I feel like you could get decent blocking TEs in free agency in the future. i'd rather get line help on both sides of the ball or a complimentary WR to Adams for Rodgers.

Doubtful. Butler would be the more likely surprise, but there are enough good WRs that teams will likely wait until the 2nd round to start taking them. I don't think any RBs get taken in the first. A lot of teams have started intentionally waiting until the 2nd or 3rd to take RBs because most are replaceable with a short shelf life. Outside of the very rare superstar like Saquon Barkely, it's basically a luxury pick to take a running back day 1, for teams who don't need anything other than a solid RB to put them over the top. See New England last year. They took Sony Michel at the end of the first last year as a big surprise, but he was that one piece they needed to win another title. Not too many teams are in position to be one RB away from that scenario.

Yeah, it's not an Iowa thing. I think he's a good player and probably a plug and play guy for most teams around the league. But at # 12 you'd be taking him over some better prospects at other premium positions. I'm not a big fan of drafting for need anyway (usually results in reaching on a player) but especially not that high in the draft. Just take the best player available.

Maybe Jacobs from Alabama. He's the only RB getting any first round buzz (which I don't get at all, but whatever).

Look harder bro, it was highlight in BOLD. But a joke is a joke, maybe I'll tread lightly next time.

Hoping the Packer's draft looks something like this.
12. Bush
30. Risner
44. Rapp
75. Butler
114. Ferguson or Jelks
118. Montgomery
150. Burr-Kirven
185. Minshew
194. CB
226. DL

I think TE need is overhyped . Tonyan is going to be a solid receiver and finding a mauler to replace Lewis shouldn't be an issue with a mid rounder next year.
