I think it’s always like this at the end. Teams are often looking for guys with certain traits that can maybe stick on special teams, not necessarily the best WR or whatever.

Right guy but wrong conclusion. KO would and should have been a top 10 pick. See his current salary.
you are kidding right? Not physical? LMFAO...Lazard is a beast of a blocker for a WR. Dude benches more than most TE’s in the draft. Nobody every said he had break away speed..He’s not a deep threat..He’s a typical red zone threat which those are being drafted plenty today. THere is not one argument anyone can give me that the TT WR that was just picked has higher upside than Lazard...no way.
At this point, I think Lazard might prefer to go undrafted so he can sign to a team with an ideal opportunity.
Lazard also is not much of a special teams guy. Right now they are drafting wide receivers who can play kick off team and be a teams 5th or so wideout.
Not sure about top 10 pick but he absolutely should have been at least a 1st round pick. We all knew it at the time here too, and it wasn't CF blinders telling us that.
I think Lazard has a good chance to get drafted in the next six picks (PHI, GB, DAL, MIA, NE & HOU). I could see any of them drafting a WR in those spots. Here's hoping it happens.

Agree with this. While it would be nice to finally get a draft pick out of ISU and for Lazard to be able to say he got drafted, having the freedom to pick where you sign would have it's benefits also.
