And get off a good shot at the end of the game. Especially when you have time outs still unused.

How do people on this board spend 2 hours watching a lethargic, unfocused team let rebounds slip through right their fingers, miss multiple wide-open threes, and miss 2 front-end one and ones in the last 2 minutes of a game where we lost by 1 point, and immediately throw a temper tantrum about the mean old refs and their conspiracy against Iowa State?

It wasn't immediate. It was pretty clear the whole second half. Go back and watch Prohm on the side lines.

Finesse teams always whine about the refs because when they get bullied by bigger, stronger players it always looks like they are being fouled.

If you want to have finesse players, you gotta take the bad with the good. You can't just celebrate the talent of the amazing players when they play well and scream at the refs when someone exposes their weaknesses.

JFC. You're gonna come here after that game to talk ****? Get the **** off the board *******.

And this is also why the conference has historically struggled in the NCAA tournament. We get used to a physical style of game because the refs allow it. Come tournament time, that isn't allowed and teams like Kansas have lost to teams they have no business losing to.

The reversal was the correct call. Replay showed it off us and announcers agreed also. No reason to complain about that one.

I just absolutely hate the way we play at the end of games with a lead. If you wanna run clock thats fine, but move. That stand around and dribble till there is 5 seconds left on the shot clock and throw up a wild desperation shot is a recipe for losing. It's chicken **** basketball. Play to win.

On the replay, it appears that they made the correct call and the announcers agreed as well.

The announcers were wrong too! Go back and rewatch that replay. It initially goes off ISU, but a KSU player tipped it last. It was definitely out on KSU and the ref that called it correctly the first time was 2 feet from them while the ref that overturned it was at half court. That’s ridiculous.

This loss is not on the refs, but they certainly contributed plenty to the cyclone efforts and affected the flow of this game.

ISU made plenty of plays down the stretch that were blown up by the refs. Hard to blame them for that. Made a great defensive stand and ksu knocked rebound out of bounds. Officials reversed call and wade made layup. We should have had the ball with a five point lead and a 1:30. On the clock. That's pretty much ball game right there. Can't really blame this team for that.

Wrong. You need to watch it again.

Ball WAS off ISU. I can’t believe how blind some of our fans are. Hopefully you were at the game and didn’t have the benefit of replay because the reversal sucked but was correct.

You really think being up 5 with 1:30 left is game over in basketball? Ummmm..... no.

Refs were terrible, but our lack of effort in the first half, getting beat up on the glass, and just not putting the game away at the line was far more disheartening.
