Remember this flowchart about the OU marching band?

Replace the left and the right with "any thread" and the center with "Prohm sucks" and you basically have a significant minority of posters on here.

Give it up. There is a time and a place.
I don’t mean to attack you, but this is the needlessly divisive black/white, antagonistic stuff that drives that flow chart.

Most P5’s have benefactors in which that time and place for criticism is the men’s basketball forum after 12-20 and the second bad year in three. And we have far more people that too readily interpret critiques as “Prohm sucks”, which is how it seems most threads to lead a referendum on Prohm.

Anyhow, if we land Brown and Harris can play, the forward curve looks remarkably different. It’s time to buy! I really think we’ve seen some changes to the business plan, and this huge roster turnover is going to be the start of another run

And 9.5 years ago he started looking at NBA jobs.

115 wins in 5 years. An average of 23 wins per season. No coach in ISU history has had a better record over any five year period. Imagine if he would have been actually coaching his team instead of looking for an NBA job 4.5 of 5 years; probably would have averaged 27 wins a year.

For your listening pleasure, here is the interview. I've said before, my one regret is that Walters apologized for this. Perrault was a clown and had it coming.

Just think if Hoiberg had been able to retain Nurse as an assistant.

Crazy how the Paul Rhodes hire was being praised for how good it was then. Just a reminder of how quickly things can change

That’s crazy that we started paying players 10 years ago

I feel so lucky to have been a student from 2011-2015. I missed Fred's first year when they didn't do a whole lot and arguably saw one of the greatest stretches ever of ISU bball
You're very lucky. I was a student from 04-09. The 04-05 season wasn't bad, but having to endure the McDoormat years was painful to watch.

2009-13 here. Had the best part of the Rhoads tenure for football, one year of McDermott and 3 of Hoiberg.

Not great football and basketball, but not bad either.

You think Sig's post is what drives that? Okay........

Most P5’s have benefactors in which that time and place for criticism is the men’s basketball forum after 12-20 and the second bad year in three.

It's two of five, let's continue.......

And we have far more people that too readily interpret critiques as “Prohm sucks”, which is how it seems most threads to lead a referendum on Prohm.

Well then interpret this critique.....

if I thought Prohm was a better coach

.....and although it is without the term "sucks"....tell us how your opinion/conclusion doesn't help promote most threads to lead a referendum on Prohm?

Anyhow, if we land Brown and Harris can play, the forward curve looks remarkably different. It’s time to buy! I really think we’ve seen some changes to the business plan, and this huge roster turnover is going to be the start of another run

But only if this.....

If our culture and coaching is P5 level

.....right?

So maybe a post like Sig's does drive things a bit...although I highly doubt it. I think like myself he is just reacting to what he reads.
