I’ve seen the different charter flights but is there a charter bus going? I’ve got 7 in my family to pay for and flying is just too expensive. Anyone heard of anything?

I've heard a few people ask, but haven't heard anything definitive about a charter bus. Seems like a good idea for some folks.

Decent price but what about lodging? Got to think by now there isn't a open hotel room left in Orlando.

Expedia shows tons of rooms around orlando.

Costs more the closer you stay to downtown or touristy spots i imagine, but if you just want a place to crash and then uber to places while you're there. Though that transportation may eat into most of the savings that you'd otherwise get by taking the bus instead of just driving, especially if you go down with a few people.

Just got hotels and flights booked yesterday. Here's what were doing and currently can be done for 400 roughly..not including hotels. Fly out of dsm the 26th to Nashville, stay the night and catch the early flight out to Orlando the 27th. Back to Dsm day after the game(29th).

It says they need 25 more riders to confirm and its $525. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not gonna happen.

That's crazy. I just looked and there are still direct flights from DSM on Frontier for less than that as long as you're able to go on Christmas Eve. 3 hours on a plane vs. 24 hours on a bus each way!

Orlando has an insane amount of hotel space in several different areas. There are still decent options right in the International Drive area where the bus stops.

The last option is @isufbcurt. Maybe he can get a bigger vehicle and squeeze you in with the other 10 people that he is picking up across the US.

I still have room for 1.

The estimated cost for riding with me is:
Fuel - $75ish
AirBnb - $148
plus your food and ticket
Riding with me, the man, the myth, the legend - Priceless

Agreed. You can get non-direct flights on American for ~$600

Yeah you can fly out of DSM for $541 round trip now. I didn’t understand their pricing when I first came across it.
