***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

Big Citrus is going to help the Vikings as a run stopper, will be great on first and second downs, then sub him out for third down when you hope to be rushing the passer.
This draft for ISU just shows how little talent we had that were seniors, next years team was going to be loaded with drafted players if they had stayed. The talents was in the Junior class that all left when Campbell left.

Don’t know what the Vikes are doing with the Bredeson pick. I know they want a CJ Ham replacement but this guy had UDFA written all over him.

Let’s be honest….it’s all a crap shoot. Vikings have had A grades in drafts and FA only to have them bomb. Same with teams like the Jets nailing a draft…then what happens…

Everyone is an expert these days, it’s all about clicks and views. let’s see what happens.
I'm not really excited for this Vikings draft (other than getting Big Citrus) but I'm not disappointed either. Like you said, we don't really know who will pan out and who will not. There's potential in these draft picks, we just have to wait and see. I am a little upset that we passed on the Oregon safety in round 1 and the Toledo safety in round 2.

Pretty much this. Many of these draft wonks put a ton of stock into the value of the player taken, based on their opinion of where he "should" be picked. But at the end of the day, if the player produces for you, it doesn't matter if you took him a round earlier than Kiper had him going. If you look at the data, first round picks are about a 50/50 gamble on their success. Subsequent rounds get progressively worse. Teams have to trust their scouting and evaluation.
, and even then it's a roll of the dice

Would love to see the Vikes draft Brailsford C, and Clairborne RB with their fifth round picks.
Love the move to come back into the 6th to get Claiborne, he’s great value there.

I don’t mind the draft at all - I’m puzzled by not picking a Center or interior OL. And I’m not thrilled with the S or CB picks. But my biggest gripe is not moving back in the 1at. I can’t believe they couldn’t have gotten at least another 3rd or so to move back and still get Banks. And if someone did snatch Banks, then McDonald was there as a very similar player with a lower ceiling but a much higher floor.

I love the Golday pick - he’s going to fit perfectly in Flores’ scheme.

The CB makes sense. His RAS is high he just has limited experience with high level competition. Flores is probably the best coach for that situation.
