NBA: *** 2025-26 NBA Thread ***

And this is why this is the best studio show in all of sports. The chemistry is just so good and they’re just having fun. Now that they have some time on their hands with the fewer games. I really want them to do an Inside the NHL with that crew. Just have Chuck make stuff up. Maybe put them on TBS and let their normal show have TNT.

Haven't watched any NBA at all this year(Niang and Haliburton injuries hurt too much). Tried watching the Hawks/Knicks game.

Seems to me like the NBA screwed up taking the money from NBC over TNT. Man, the opening before the game was so lifeless, and the announcers had no energy. Nobody talking about the game ahead of time, just player intros, including watching the Knicks intro video and listening to the MSG announcer. Not sure if they were even in the building.

Convince me I am wrong....

Getting intense in the Garden.
McCollum talking a lot of **** and got his teammates to step up.
2 minutes left.

Too late for me but it looks like MN stole one in Denver. This series will be intense.

Same, I've been checked out all year. Doubly hurts that Luka Garzas career has had some resurgence this year, a relevant player on the second best team in the east. Meanwhile, Hali and Niang with their injuries all year. Monte's NBA career seemingly over after his various injuries over the years. No sign of THT. We need Milan and Joshua to get drafted badly.

Uh oh. Harrison Barnes went down with a wrist injury and just went to the locker room.

Wemby is in concussion protocol now also. Rough start for the Spurs.

Didn't expect Philly to get this dub.
Me either but I think Celtics are being overvalued as heavy EC favorite. They're not as good as last years team that got beat by NY. They've overachieved all year and with Tatum back it makes sense but for odds you can get I'd take Cleveland

Road teams on a terror right now. Thought 1st round was going to be pretty straightforward this year too.
