Wisconsin AD Leaving.

I’m not so sure. I’d be nervous if he takes it with Gard on shaky ground. He could be tasked with replacing both FB and MBB JC’s.
What do you think has changed since 2021 when they hired McIntosh? Clearly there wasn't interest on one side or the other back then.

I'd wonder if he'd want to take over those programs in kind of a purgatory at the moment.

I think that ship has sailed for Jamie. He’ll be looking at retirement plans rather than a new challenge. IMO

If this were 10-15 years ago this would be a more interesting story. I think JP is way too close to retirement at this point.

I would say it will take JP retiring and the next AD sinking ISU athletics for people to realize what we had in JP as an AD, but it's more likely these clowns will lay the blame on JP for the sinking of athletics. It's these same kinds of idiots I see saying the problem is JP runs the AD "like an accountant", not realizing 1. JP IS an accountant, and 2. what's he supposed to do - rack up hundreds of millions of dollars in debt just to get the same results with the tight ship he is running?

I don't think he would take it but wouldn't shock me either. Guessing he is probably getting sick of the financial situation our Athletic Department is in as well as burnt out by some of our more "vocal" fans. Also it sure seems like a good amount of fans have grown tired of him so could be best for a fresh start for both parties if that is what Jamie would want (don't think he does at this point).

If he’s burnt out by fans of successful football and men’s basketballs programs he’d have a rude awakening by a Wisconsin fanbase completely done with Fickell and Gard

A chance to be in the Big Ten instead of the financially challenged Big 12?
He’d have to take the call.
