Silly me, you are right where you need to be. You have us COOGS at home and we are playing like limp noodles.
Hopefully the atmosphere at your place will get our guys up otherwise you are going to do what you did to Kansas.
The toughest part is you playing at AZ. They just got beat by Tech so there is a chance we could have 3 teams tied
for the BIG12 title and that means we are all BIG 12 champs. At least that is the way I read the tie breakers.
Anyway, I'm a big cyclone fan until y'all play us.

Stylistically, BYU is a terrible match up for us. And it doesn't help its at your place, but losing Saunders is huge for you guys. We could have afforded to drop one of Cincy/TCU and still have a good shot at winning the league. Dropping both kind of ruins that dream with road games at Arizona and BYU left still. That's okay, all I really want is a deep run in March. I hope we get it.
Notice the name "arcoog" ? There are cougs and coogs. Uh is the coogs.

I think they're talking about Houston :)

Iowa State, Houston and Arizona all go 15-3 and Iowa State has head-to-head wins over both Houston and Arizona = Iowa State outright champs ; )
My understanding is we are ALL co-champs. No differentiation between who beat who. I could be wrong but I'm just repeating another persons take on who is the BIG12 champ if we tie.

Ha Im just giving you a hard time. Yes, they would all technically be co-champs in that scenario. Houston is in the drivers seat. Im not so sure Arizona doesnt end up with 4 conference losses. They still have a rough schedule and are fighting some injuries.

If we tie, we'll just have to settle it at the Final Four.
Someone feel free to knock Kansas out before that. No Final Four needs them around.

I think we just got caught looking ahead to the next two games when we played TCU, and forgot you can't do that on the road in the Big 12. Combine that with bad FT shooting (2/8 from the line) and two 10-0 runs by TCU (which hitting FTs would have cut both short in the early stages), and it was an object lesson to the guys when your head isn't in the game for one evening.

It would still be a shared championship, but we'd get the 1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament (I get what you're saying, though)

Hell yeah.

Conference champions just isn’t the same thing anymore when there’s like 20 teams in the league and all the schedules are unbalanced. Like I really don’t think it matters. Conference and NCAA tournaments are where it’s at.

Agree with you. Home and homes playing every body was the best. Play everyone in football and get each other twice in hoops was great.

Would still be fun to win (especially this conference) but just not quite like it was.

Our good is as good as anyone’s good. Just give me a damn run.

For us to get a piece of the title, we have to win out, I really doubt the winner of the conference will have four. loses. We need to take it one game at a time, which means beat Houston at home on Monday, then let it all play out.
