NFL: 2025 Fantasy Football

Nope. I'm in one league, we draft the Tuesday after Labor Day. Auction draft, 12 team. I'm kind of struggling on QB, I've had Lamar Jackson the last two years, finished 2nd two years ago and won it last year, but I think I need to stay out in front of things so am trying to find my next Lamar Jackson and I think I'm going to go hard at Jayden Daniels as the next guy. Could hopefully get him for $28-$30ish.

I received a $3 ticket from Draftkings and entered their 12 team best ball tournament. 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 flex and12 bench spots.

I've also done a bunch of 12 team ppr mock drafts on ESPN. It's interesting to see what players are rising and falling.

I’d look at CJ Strouds value too. Guessing it would be less, and I think he’ll have a better year statistically than Daniels

Already in four leagues and the money draft is Sunday. We keep one from last year. I picked up Daniel’s in the 12 round last year so I’m probably going with him.

I’m targeting Daniels too but in a standard PPR league (4 pts passing TD). Probably going to have to take him in the 3rd to get him so depending on where you’re picking you might be passing on some big name RB or WR (or TE). If I don’t get Daniels in the 3rd I’ll be hoping for Hurts in the 4th, Burrow in the 5th, or Bo Nix in the 7th or 8th.

Only in 1 league and we draft Sunday night. 10 team full point PPR and you can keep 1 guy as long as he was not your keeper the previous year. I got the #5 pick which is kinda nice as you basically pick in the same spot every round in a snake draft. I decided to keep Lamb which costs me my 1st rounder. I'm fine with that because he's going 1.6 in most drafts and I think probably every player going ahead of him likely is someone's keeper or will be gone right away if they are not in Chase Bijan Barkley Gibbs and Jefferson so if I waited around till #5 my guess is I'm looking at a pool of guys likely going late 1st to early 2nd so Lamb is probably good value at #5 as a keeper.

My dilemma when it comes to my 2.5 pick is do I go WR again or do I need to snag a RB that might be there like Achane if he is still available or Irving or Jacobs. I don't get the luxury of snagging guys nearly back to back at the end or start of rounds like guys closer to 1 and 10 do but at the 5 pick I probably need to either snipe a guy that won't be there the next round when I pick to fill a position need or take advantage of someone that maybe fell lower than their ADP that is sitting there even if I don't necessarily need that position at the time.

Here's my current budgeting plan for our auction draft, along with the starters I'm hoping to get:

QB - $30 (Jayden Daniels)
RB - $40 (Josh Jacobs)
RB - $15 (Chuba Hubbard)
WR - $55 (Malik Nabers)
WR - $15 (Devonta Smith)
TE - $20 (George Kittle)
FL - $15 (TreVeyon Henderson)
D - $1
K - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1
B - $1

I always go in knowing there'll be wiggle room. I may have to spend a few bucks more to get the QB I want, so I'll need to spend a few bucks less on something else like flex. Open to thoughts from others who do auction drafts.

We draft August 30th. 10 team PPR, auction. Several years ago we ran both a snake draft league and an auction league but dropped the snake draft a few years ago. I guess in our league there just wasn't the enthusiasm for snake draft as there was for auction. I think they like the idea of having that potential to go after any player they want and what they're willing to pay for them.

I am really hoping for a bounce back year for Breece Hall this year. Fantasy football was a lot more fun when he was discussed as a no brainer first round pick. Now shows are cautioning him as an RB2.

Finished up my 10 team PPR league. I am happy with my RB depth but seemed like every WR I wanted got plucked 2-3 picks before my pick so I had to go RB heavy.

1. (5) CeeDee Lamb (Dal - WR) *Keeper
2. (16) De'Von Achane (Mia - RB)
3. (25) Jonathan Taylor (Ind - RB)
4. (36) Joe Burrow (Cin - QB) - QB started to come off the board in the 3rd and 4th rounds so I did not want to wait
5. (45) Kenneth Walker III (Sea - RB)
6. (56) David Montgomery (Det - RB)
7. (65) Travis Kelce (KC - TE)
8. (76) Rashee Rice (KC - WR)
9. (85) Joe Mixon (Hou - RB)
10. (96) Kyler Murray (Ari - QB)
11. (105) Jayden Reed (GB - WR)
12. (116) Cooper Kupp (Sea - WR)
13. (125) Kyle Pitts Sr. (Atl - TE)
14. (136) Detroit (Det - DEF)
15. (145) Chris Boswell (Pit - K)
16. (156) Najee Harris (LAC - RB)

I always remember that happening when our league was a snake draft.

I have a hard time evaluating 10-team league rosters because each team has so much talent at all positions.

12 team dynasty league (6 keepers every year) going on our 5th or 6th year and I've never made the playoffs. Finished 2nd in points for last year but every team went off the week I played them. We give first overall pick to whoever wins the consolation bracket (me this year) to disincentivize tanking as it was becoming a major issue. Anyway

QB- Lamar Jackson
RB- Jahmyr Gibbs, Jonathon Taylor, Ashton Jeanty (first pick), Ollie Gordon
WR- Nico Collins, Brian Thomas, Garrett Wilson, Jakobi Meyers, Luther Burden
TE- Evan Engram, Kyle Pitts
D- Broncos
K- Brandon Aubrey

If I miss the playoffs again with that roster, I'm just gonna quit

Been doing our fantasy draft with the board and stickers for 20 years now. Our commissioner either forgot to order it or forgot it in his office. One guy showed up 1/2 hour late. I had to draft for a friend who was still in Ireland. Took around 3 1/2 hours. One guy never showed up either so I guys 12 year old son drafted for him. What a CF.
