Yep! To me watching Northwestern @ Iowa State will be a fun game. It will not be any less of a good experience because it offically an Exhibition instead of a Regular Season game. Basically, playing Northwestern home and home as an Exhibition is better than not playing Northwestern home and home at all.
Let the summer workouts and physicality begin! Looking forward to seeing which freshmen contribute!
I’ve seen what I need to see from Bateman. Pencil him in as a star.
First two games at Players Era are:
Nov 24- St John's 3:30 PM CT
Nov 25- Creighton 1:30 PM CT
3rd game based on results of the first two rounds

St John’s will be top 3-5 in early season polls.
I’d guess Creighton will be borderline top 25? Really don’t know what they have this coming season.
So what are the actual dates for the tourney? The athletic department has Nov. 25-29 listed.
Everybody plays the 24th and 25th and then one more game either the 28th or 29th, tentatively.
Norlander now reporting all 3rd games Wednesday the 26th.
This isn't the most organized deal ever created.

The people running it weren't even sure until very recently.
You'd think so, but that speaks to the general half-assedness of the operation.
ESPN top 25 only has 6 teams ranked from Big 12. No Baylor, no K State, no Cincinnati. We have some teams that it would be nice for them to step up their game. Maybe they will. If they have the funds. I fear the imbalance in football profits is affecting basketball too.
