I sometimes forget roster reconstruction is constant these days. To top this list losing 2 huge scorers and 3 total starters is wild.

In the era of the portal, retaining your 3 best players is a huge win. Hopefully the pieces we brought in fit well.

Am I right to assume that they need to bring back exhibition games for added revenue? Even an exhibition against Northwestern and Creighton would likely be a sellout.

Yep! To me watching Northwestern @ Iowa State will be a fun game. It will not be any less of a good experience because it offically an Exhibition instead of a Regular Season game. Basically, playing Northwestern home and home as an Exhibition is better than not playing Northwestern home and home at all.
