what if Palencia develops reliable change up? He will be nasty.
Didn't particularly love the offensive approach this series but the team got done what they needed to do.
<Knock on wood> just hope he can stay healthy. Looks to me at times he overthrows the ball and that makes me nervous that something is going to give.
Keller and Palencia have been nice surprises becoming big late inning guys in high leverage situations. Counsell must have a lot of trust in Braiser too as he's been getting put in some big spots already right off the IL. If the Cubs can keep getting this kind of pitching from the bullpen through June it would allow them to use the prospect capital on starting pitching and not have to overpay for a high priced rental bullpen arm.

I saw it in spring training that DP was different this year just dominant. I think the closer role is spoken for,
Anything short of a sweep in that series would of been disappointing. The Rockies are just awful. Cubs scored 9 runs in the series and got the sweep.
