It's baseball, it doesn't mean we will win every game 10-2 against them. The elements evened things out a little bit this week also.Which part? For clarification, my post really was to emphasize how historically bad the Rockies are.
I don't think it's unfair to be a little disappointed in the offense that series. 9 runs in 3 games (and really 7 if you don't count extras) against the worst pitching staff in MLB isn't good. We've scored a lot more runs in worse conditions against better teams this year. Still a sweep and that's all that ultimately matters but it's silly to just blame Wrigley probs when we only had 4 and 6 hits in two of the three games against a very bad pitching staffIt's baseball, it doesn't mean we will win every game 10-2 against them. Yeah I get the elements, but I still would have been disappointed if we didn't sweep this team at home. I'm in no way criticizing the Cubs by only scoring 9 runs in the series. I'm simply pointing out that the Rockies getting swept in a series where the other team only put up 9 runs is not great for them. This team may not get to double digits wins 2 months into the season. It's baseball, it doesn't mean we will win every game 10-2 against them. I was only able to watch Tuesday nights game but there were at least 3 fly balls that would have been home runs under normal conditions.I don't think it's unfair to be a little disappointed in the offense that series. 9 runs in 3 games (and really 7 if you don't count extras) against the worst pitching staff in MLB isn't good. There’s no crying in baseballComprehension is a lost art
We have at least a couple weeks until that. I think Brown goes to the bullpen before going back to Iowa.I assume Brown goes to Iowa when Shota comes back?
are they not?I’m excited to see how quickly the Rockies get officially eliminated from the playoffs.
