Didn't like our hitters approach in the 10th. No need to swing for the fences- a base hit probably scores a run. Guys were just flailing at low pitches out of the zone.
Much better approach by Busch and Hoerner in the 11th. Made the Rockies reliever throw strikes and make contact. Also doesn't hurt to have PCA the runner on 2nd.
Would be curious to see the Cubs record when they don't hit a HR. A downside of upper cut swings when the wind is blowing in or a cold night.

Really nice job by him. He seems very comfortable. Would be great if Flexen can be a reliable two inning guy in the bullpen.Flexen is 3-0
Maybe it's just me but it always seems a little more special for a night time walk off when there can be a light show.

Seemed like the ump detracted from the game a bit. Zone was all over the place.

Gotta wonder if this is a minor league deal as already have 2 lefties in Theilbar and Pomeranz that have pitched very well. A 3rd lefty in the pen would be strange.
Offense was terrible for much of the game but winning games where you don’t play well is a sign of a good team. It’s the Rockies but another nice comeback.
