Worst Movies Ever

I started to watch it once. Got about 10 minutes in and didn't see it going anywhere. Then it kept being referenced and I decided to give it another try. Got about 30 minutes in and still didn't see any point.
Napoleon Dynamite is one of those that, right from the jump, you're either into or you're not. I personally love it and think it's great. Especially the after-credit wedding scene with Kip and Lafawnda with the "I love technology" R&B riff. But I get people not liking it.
I'll never understand the nostalgia the kids these days have for 1-3.
There are a lot of cool Star Wars-y ideas and potential meaty character and plot elements. They just never come together as they did in A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.
The execution is just terrible and the CGI-heavy effects are not aging well.
I give them credit for having ideas and ambitions and influences outside of simply rehashing the original trilogy, though. Lucas tried and failed but at least he tried to make something worthy.
Disney didn't even try.
I really struggled through the first 30-40 minutes and just couldn't get into it.
Not a marvel movie fan either...Army of Darkness on the other hand....CINEMA!!!
The dreadful Julia Louis-Dreyfus? I'm not going to try and defend her role in the marvel movies and I dont really care about that, but she's been a major part of two of the best sitcoms of the last 40 years. She's far from dreadful.

Not at all, especially when the awards are not based on anything that's provable.
The emperor so often has no clothes. It doesn't matter to me how many people say s/he does.

She was definitely not the problem with Thunderbolts. I don't think any one person or character was.
Imo it just felt pretty typical for the Marvel stuff.
-bunch of quasi dysfunctional people with super powers are part of some mission, get caught together in some scheme, are forced to form a team to fight back, have a big battle against some big powerful being that's the most powerful thing ever until it isn't, they win, and it ends with a potential future of being heroes to the world.
People sometimes forget comic book movies are based on comic books.
I mean I thought Thunderbolts was good and a bit of a subversion of the typical Marvel movie. Thought it dealt with heavy issues well and discussing them was a pretty big change for a Marvel movie (although can't help themselves to undercut some of the more heartfelt/poignant moments...) not perfect, it is a Marvel movie still, but probably the best one since Shang Chi
Yeah, there are some pretty questionable plotlines and dialogue. The funny story they tell about Paxston's character approaching a twister in his skivvies drunk and throwing his whiskey bottle into the funnel is about as suspect as they get.
Fun fact about Twister. The guy who played Laurence, Jeremy Davies, who is also famous for roles such as Upham in Saving Private Ryan, Dr. Faraday in Lost, and Dickie in Justified, lived in Rockford, Iowa for a few years. One of my coworkers was friends with him in high school and they still connect from time to time.
Also, apparently when Bill Paxston died over 200 storm chasers coordinated to spell out BP with their GPS trackers on a radar screen. This had been done a few times before to honor individuals, but never for someone who wasn't an actual storm chaser.
