Seems likely that it will be 33/41 or 41/49 for the Frost brothers and definitely not them both trying for 141 at the same time.

I could see Evan going back down to 133 again if Ech goes 141. We will see though
Gable maintained his nil stuff while reineri accepted pro status and compensation, and I don't know if the Olympics count
Why only "IF Ech goes 141" ? Let's say Ech goes 149 which he likely will. You are saying that either..
A) Evan bumps up to wrestle off Jacob at 141.. and definitely wins (I wouldn't say that's a guarantee)
or
B) Evans bumps up.. Jacob goes up to 149 knowing he likely can't beat Ech in a wrestling off and wastes his Junior year with even trying to wrestle off at 141.. when he was just an AA there a year ago
My source said there is no reason not to expect Ortega to be eligible. Don’t know how many years. Also, the thought is if he is eligible, 133 is his spot hands down. He’s that good.

I thought Ortega was on a different level than anyone we put out there. Like top 3 at ncaas type good.
Reineri is up there with David as far as best pound for pound wrestler in the room
Apologies.. I mixed up Diversent and Ortega with that statement of being able to win a wrestle off. I assumed Ortega was not eligible and was just with the program to train freestyle. I'm up to speed now lol.
I am guessing he would if he applies for one. He missed essentially the entire year with his knee injury
I heard ortega was likely to get a year or two of eligibility.. But maybe coaches were just being optimistic

Med redshirt is used after the rest of your eligibility is up.
Best way to think about it is Jacob will still be a redshirt Junior next year (same as Evan), but after his redshirt senior year, he could apply for a medical redshirt to make up for last year. Sitting out next year doesn't grant him another year on top of the medical, he will have 3 years left no matter what
10-4, tack it on to the end makes sense, thanks! This way he stays with Evan on eligibility down the road
