Imagine being this hyperbolic about a player I’m guessing you’ve watched only a YouTube highlight video of.
This is the same handle who said the KC Chiefs soured on drafting Will McDonald because he was a garbage human being, so I'd take what the troll says with a full dump truck of salt. Just here to spread misinformation & misery.

What an absolute colossal fumble by the coaches with Rohde. He wanted to come to ISU. He was on campus for a visit. And they somehow screwed it up. Simply and utterly embarrassing
Unless you could figure out a way to move the ISU campus next to Milwaukee there was nothing they could do.

ISU offered him more money than the Badgers.

The Wisconsin scholly he will get opened up while he was at ISU. It changed everything

There are literally a half-dozen alternates to this kid that likely would perform just as well in TJ's system. Whether we get one of them to commit here is another matter, but it hardly seems like a "colossal fumble."
When you prioritize a transfer for months and think you have him, it’s a fumble to not land him.

He was an excellent fit. Odds are not exactly great we land someone as impactful at three positions

"Fumble" implies we did something wrong, or could have done something differently to get him. It wasn't a fumble.

Very true. In my mind, Mitchell might be the one that doesn't get a ton of run this season out of the freshman class, not due to his ability, but more due to whose ahead of him. I think Pleta will eventually be great also, but he may be somewhat developmental
Pleta has a ton of potential. I would love to have him redshirt and develop this year, but redshirting in college hoops is somewhat rare.

We also have a really good in-state recruit in next year's class, although I can't recall his name off the top of my head.

That’s Josiah Harrington. He’s in the ‘27 class.

What was it that made him an excellent fit? The 9pt average or the minuscule amount of steals he had in a supposed tough defense?

Sounds like a basic player to me that we shouldn't have any trouble finding an equivalent or better one.
