This kid also committed to Tony Bennett, we have that TJ connection too. It would be a surprise if we didn't kick the tires. He played at SDSU and UVA. No question he could fit culturally. You have to play hard and defend for those two coaches.

Very true. In my mind, Mitchell might be the one that doesn't get a ton of run this season out of the freshman class, not due to his ability, but more due to whose ahead of him. I think Pleta will eventually be great also, but he may be somewhat developmental

What was it that made him an excellent fit? The 9pt average or the minuscule amount of steals he had in a supposed tough defense?

Sounds like a basic player to me that we shouldn't have any trouble finding an equivalent or better one.
