Josh Dix would help me test my hypothesis that all Hawkeyes for the past 15 years aren't bad defenders, they were just never coached to care about it.
Mason Williams has a player comp per KenPom of CuJo in his last year at Buffalo fwiw. I think he's got a lot to work with and had games of 35/29/28 points and 7 in the 20s. Explosive scoring potential is very interesting even if the overall numbers aren't amazing. Two new names to me on there:
Mason Williams (EWU) has played two years. He's a 6'5" 170# CG - not a bad shooter (35% 3FG, 84% FT), had more turnovers (2.6) than assists (2.4). did average over a steal a game. Would be similar to Curtis (not saying he's as good!) - no idea if there's a connection to ISU
Eric Mulder (IPFW) has played 3 years. He's a 6'8" PF - averaged 8.4pts, 6.7 rbs. Attempted basically no 3s, shot <60% from the FT line, and 78.4% on two-point shots. Very good offensive rebounder. Smaller Chatfield, basically. He's from Pella
With Oscar Cluff looking like a real possibility as a big and very good offensively. I wanna see another rim protector like Hasan Ward. Funny enough another VCU center, Luke Bamgboye, entered the portal and he had the second best block rate in the country. Also only a freshman
You are correct they are not related. Fran Fraschilla made the assumption they were related and I believe Boog Schiambi corrected him and said they were not related.Probably a great class because this is all the covid last year guys plus the 1st year of non-covid guys, pretty much a 2x class size.
I don't believe Obi and JT are related.
Guys with those credentials have had success in the past.I'll take a 6'8" guy from Pella who shoots 78%.

No, I was referring to Kyle Korver.I assume we are talking about former Pella great and Creighton star Pierce Hibma?
Who didn't LOLPut up 20 against the Hawks last year.
He doesn’t have nba height at the 5 or an nba shot at the 4. He’s a tweener.I only looked around briefly yesterday but looks like he’s projected around #20-30. Not sure why so low. Maybe it’s just a really strong class. He’s young, big, athletic, scores and rebounds in the post, can shoot it a bit (31% on 1.6 3PAs per game this year). But I don’t have a great sense for what the NBA is looking for these days, haven’t followed that league closely for 10+ years.
Hisbrotherwho was a NCAA POTY is a solid but unspectacular NBA guy, maybe that’s all that JT is projected to.
edit: I guess they are not related! vvvv
247 says Freeman to Creighton sorry about the quote, wrong one.A healthy Gilbert broke down defenses with his slashing ability. Lipsey again when healthy could to. We missed both
