Uff. Coming off shoulder surgery as a Backup guard option he has quite a good list

Are we certain he was on campus yesterday? Is this a verified report? Would be the biggest transfer recruiting win of the Otz era.

Would be great to see Oscar at ISU!!
Dent would be a perfect replacement for Gilbert, but yeah, we probably can't afford him. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Texas Tech with JT Toppin. This dude has serious game, he will be a home run grab for whoever pays him his $$. Won't be us, unfortunately. I presume New Mexico pays peanuts, otherwise kid should stay. What's wrong with being the POY and big dog in a respectable mid-major conference? He'll get plenty of eyeballs for a future date in the NBA draft first round.
Well if we need fast, he definitely isUff. Coming off shoulder surgery as a Backup guard option he has quite a good list
No $$ for the wrestlers?I'll use UNI, and I assume most of the MVC (not MVFC only) schools, as an example.
UNI is going to opt in. Our cap will be somewhere around $1.4M and 90% of that is going to MBB. We will not share at all with football and the remaining 10% is going to be split between WBB and VB.
That's going to be the FCS model for the most part. North Dakota State is opting OUT because they feel that their collective can make them financially competitive and they don't want to be subject to roster caps.

I was thinking the same. He dominated this year so there's a chance he could jump to the NBA.I’d put the odds of Toppin returning for another year of college ball at roughly 0%, unless he’s committed to that already.
Toppin is a projected late first round first couple of picks into the second round guy right now.I was thinking the same. He dominated this year so there's a chance he could jump to the NBA.
I'm starting to feel better about next season as long as he doesn't break a hipBREAKING: Jamaal Tinsley is back.
Yeah, he seems to have the size and skill set (and resume) to go pro this year.Toppin is a projected late first round first couple of picks into the second round guy right now.
I could absolutely see a team late in the first taking based on his skill set and the fact that he will only be 20 in June.
I was thinking he could be a top 10 pick because of his offensive rebounding, but I don't watch NBA so I have no idea how his skills translate to that level. I'm a huge Toppin fan so I really hope he has a great NBA career.Toppin is a projected late first round first couple of picks into the second round guy right now.

There are rumors that New Mexico's coach, Richard Pitino, could be heading to Villanova.
I only looked around briefly yesterday but looks like he’s projected around #20-30. Not sure why so low. Maybe it’s just a really strong class. He’s young, big, athletic, scores and rebounds in the post, can shoot it a bit (31% on 1.6 3PAs per game this year). But I don’t have a great sense for what the NBA is looking for these days, haven’t followed that league closely for 10+ years.I was thinking he could be a top 10 pick because of his offensive rebounding, but I don't watch NBA so I have no idea how his skills translate to that level. Probably a great class because this is all the covid last year guys plus the 1st year of non-covid guys, pretty much a 2x class size.I only looked around briefly yesterday but looks like he’s projected around #20-30. His brother who was a NCAA POTY is a solid but unspectacular NBA guy, maybe that’s all that JT is projected to.
Love leaving Baylor is a blow to them. He kept them in a lot of games when their offense sputtered. Some BigXII related transfers:
Sencire Harris and Amani Hasberry (both starters I think) are leaving WVU
Stud freshman Joson Sanon is going from ASU to St Johns
Langston Love is leaving Baylor
Starters Miro Little and Lawson Lovering are leaving Utah
