Yeah there were a ton of fouls not called on both sides, for sure messed with the flow
That officiating at the end of the Michgian game was horrendous. They basically gave Michigan a bunch of free points the last 5 minutes.
Then Goldin got fouled, ran to the opposite end and bulldozed into the UCSD guy and no call on either end.

A couple of minor upsets today, but all of the Top 4 seeds that played advanced. Hopefully, we have Top Seed chalk tomorrow too. At the end of the day, what happens 5 and below really doesn't matter MOST of the time.
I got tagged or 'laugh' emojied for posting that they were collectively rated 2nd on several sites behind the SEC (B12 3rd) a while back like they couldn't possibly have some strong teams.
And with the B12 only getting 5 bids it's not outlandish to say it wasn't as strong this season overall.
MU, UW, MSU etc are all capable.
This is all true, but "doing well" is always about match-ups. The B1G has some decent teams. But I'm not going to annoint them as our new overlords.
Yeah, their top teams are all good, not great, and very capable and I think they had more averageish teams clumped together to maybe that help the metrics.
The ACC was wayyyy down there and so far have shown out.
Not surprised at all by lots of chalk so far. CBB is so top heavy this year it’s ridiculous. Kenpom has around 30 teams above a 20 NetRating this year. Usually it’s under 20 teams.
