We're sitting pretty solid to keep a 3 seed, but be rooting against Maryland and Wisconsin.

Every conference needs villains. BYU is a solid addition. The Cougars making a deep run in the tourney would reflect well on Iowa State. I want all of our conference mates to succeed. Hard to feel too down about this game with two of our best guards sitting and a third fouling out. Herculean effort from our bench. Gotta let someone else win the Big 12 tourney every once in a while.

IMO, im more okay with this loss if we are all healthy next week. Good to see Jackson and Jefferson find their grooves before the big tourney. Heres to hoping we are in Dukes region

I worry about Tamin with lingering issues. Look at how long Keshon’s been out with similar injury?

I would not feel good about this if I were BYU. We playing with half our guys, and they have really been exposed defensively in our two matchups.

BYU just has so many guys you can attack, guys that can't guard at all....easy to create mismatches. Honestly I would love to see them in our bracket.

Gilbert and Lipsey just make us a completely different team.

19-1 when not sick or injured.

Yeah, we're not great in late game scenarios with a small deficit. Doesn't bode well for NCAA tourney unfortunately

The guys we rely on in those situations were on the bench in sweats

A game like that should give everyone on the roster confidence even though it ended up with a loss. Just hoping that Lipsey and Gilbert are healthy enough to go almost full speed next week.

I hate moral victories as much as anyone, but this game shows that we can hang with really good teams even down two starters....we should be a 3 seed....get some rest and let's make a deep run in the big dance!

They are always going to have a deep bench. Most teams don't have more than 8 in their rotation

Our perimeter defense would've been much better and we wouldn't have given up so many wide open shots so yes

I think a team that just man's up and plays them straight up will pretty much own them....like say Houston.
