They had byes when it was 10 teams and nobody complained about byes the years ISU had one.

Not really related, but they fired Ben Johnson at Minnesota last night
I foresee a valiant Clones effort today, but I don't think we pull this one out. BYU did not shoot well against us in Hilton and turned it over 30 times. They'll return partially to the mean and out shoot us. Hoping I'm wrong! Let's just beat them by 30 like we did to UH last year!
ISU got embarrassed on the boards versus BYU in Ames. The Cyclones takes that to heart today and out-rebound the Cougars.

Another day, another game. The guys were dialed in and on their game yesterday. Today is going to be another breed of cats. The road to the finals is just one cat after another. These may be the mountain variety of cats, but the higher they are, the farther they fall. I think we will need to be “up“ for this one.
As an aside, don’t know if it came across on tv, but the Buffs and Eers were goading each other over the John Denver song yesterday. The Buffs claimed the taller yesterday.
Welp here’s to a fourth game this season with the Buffs ( our tournament respite from herding cats ).

Well, with 10 teams, don't you kind of need to have byes? I guess the current format maybe keeps expenses down? Otherwise, you don't need to have byes for 16 teams.
