Hmm...doesn't look like they are doing the whole bracket reveal with Palm at the end. Too bad. Palm's a goober, but I like seeing what he's thinking about for the whole field at this time of year.

Florida over Houston right now is a total joke. Their non-conference schedule is really bad.
I think Houston is better, but they lost those big noncon games. Closely, I understand, but still losses. If they lose a home game to the Cyclones, I think their fate will be sealed. Still a 2 if that's the only one they lose.

Most positive thing for ISU fans to come from that is that the committee chair specifically mentioned injuries when they seeded Iowa State and Kentucky. If we keep taking care of business and end up only taking 1-3 losses with the full squad, sounds like the committee will value that.

I think 1 seed is still possible. If we win out it’ll be pretty hard to ignore 23-1 with Milan in the lineup.
Technically possible i agree but highly unlikely. We’d need one team (Auburn) to runaway with things and have Florida and Tenn and Bama not only lose to each other but drop a couple to not at great teams.

Nope. We also learned last year the committee doesn't care what happens in the Big 12 tournament, so those potential big win opportunities won't move the needle much at all.
AND, our own Athletic Director agrees with this approach^

They also went undefeated and beat the snot out of everyone, no?
Yes, but what's their best win outside the SEC? Wake Forest? UNC? They have zero wins outside of the conference against tournament teams.

They do have the signature win over Auburn, besides that their best win was at home against Tennessee.

They are really good, but if the tournament were seeded today I think Houston has a slightly better overall resume.

There are still big win opportunities before then. At UH, home vs AZ, and at KSU

OOC was weak but they crushed Tennessee and Auburn on the road which are two wins way better than anything Houston has
Houston has hardly anything of note on their schedule. Won at Kansas and ???

Purdue got the nod over Iowa State because of better OOC wins, Alabama and Ole Miss while Iowa State just beat Marquette.
