Dishwasher Buying Advice/Question

I'm on year 12 of my Maytag, only problem I've had is getting soap buildup turn into clogs in the sprayer arms because I was a first time homeowner n00b and never ran cleaning cycles.

Can I hijack for some suggestions for electric range/ovens?

We have always been a Maytag/Whirlpool household, but have been disappointed with the amount of repairs in recent years. Trying our GE for the new electric range. Only a little less than year in, but so far so good. .

If you already have compatible non-stick pans (or want to replace them) take a look at ranges with Induction stovetops. My only wish is that I could've found one with knob controls rather than buttons, but we couldn't find any that had controls on the back with knobs

I've heard good things. Consensus best option seems to be either toto drake or the American Standard Champion 4 (which i've got in a couple bathrooms now)
What I love about the Toto is that the flush water comes out and circles the rim of the toilet. I haven't bought a toilet in 20 years, so I don't know if that's common or only a feature of Toto toilets.

I came down with it last week. I slept for damn near 36 hours straight. The body and head aches were absolutely brutal.

I've still got the cough, chest congestion, fatigue and a weird sensitivity to light going on.

Not quite as bad as having salmonella awhile back but easily number two on my list.
Number two is not good....

We've got a little bit of everything in our house.

Older GE double oven gas range - This thing is tits.
Whirlpool 2 door/2 drawer fridge - Also tits so far.
Beko Dishwasher - OK for a cheap one
Amana Microwave - It cooks ****.

Maytag washer/dryer - I've had to replace a couple cheap parts but they're good. We have 5 people so they get used non stop.

No recommendations for KA range either. On our third heating element, had to replace the temperature sensor, and the control board (which was the most expensive / most difficult to swap out of all the range repairs). Range is 5 years old, and don’t get me started on the knobs…..stickers are flaking off and replacements are $40/each and there are four of them. Would love to get back into a gas range, just haven’t been fortunate to have that as an option in the homes we have lived in.

We bought a GE last year when the Samsung failed. It seems fine. The burners are pretty hot, I seldom have them higher than halfway up and on the lowest setting they are a little hotter than I would prefer. However, I had a Kenmore range some years ago that took forever to heat up and I prefer the GE. It has many settings for the oven; convection, pizza mode, air fry, etc. I’ve tried them, but don’t see the value. We use “Bake” 99% of the time.

I’ve always been surprised by the hard wiring required on these. Why can’t you just plug them in?
