Dishwasher Buying Advice/Question

I'd buy a machine that vents steam out the front, rather than the newer type that doesn't vent, instead uses condensation. In my experience, the former gets things drier.

GE dishwashers are awful. Ask me how I know. I've had an LG for 4 years now and absolutely love it.

Yup. That is the type that vents steam out the front. Quality model like that can cost you half your net worth.
Yep, the price of admission is steep, but after that the never ending maintenance will really get you.

Another nuance with the current vintage of Bosch models - they are WiFi connected and require use of their app to control full configuration and functionality of the appliance.

Grrrrrrrrr

We need a ****** assblaster machine. like a hurricane and a cyclone have a baby and you don't need to add pods,

About a year ago I was going to get a Bosch but didn't like the wifi app stuff they force on you or the racks. I just want to wash dishes, and I need big things to fit. Ended up with a Whirlpool, it was $700 on sale so probably about 900 MSRP. It has been great. Dishes are perfect and you can't even tell it's on. The third rack that I thought was stupid is very useful. Definitely get a model with a third rack and a stainless tub. My last Whirlpool was very mediocre; this one has been excellent.
