We've had such good free throw defense the last few games - regression to the mean tonight. zona made 80+% FTs and a full court heave to tie. I actually don't think they are very good. We played poorly in their house and they got a little more than average home reffing and ball luck to barely squeak out a win. Good for them tonight but revenge will come for the rightfuly better team in a few week in the rematch.

Yes, they’ll get losses but so will we. And they’ll claim their losses in the SEC are “better” as the metrics have them being the toughest conference this year.

The big 12 isn't really "down".

The SEC has been up (by a lot!), but if you look at computer ratings going into conference play the big 12 rated out pretty much the same as last year.

Unless this team makes a final 4 run, the 2000 team is still our best team and they got screwed out of the one seed. Nurse, Fizer, Tinesly, Horton, and Johnson, tough as nails.
