Love the idea of a direct flight and would definitely pay more for it but the short turnaround is a dealbreaker for our group of 6 going. Spending the $ and time to get over there is considerable so we want to make it at least a week trip, maybe 8-10 days.

Red eyes are actually easier with the littles. Although 16 months can be tough regardless of time of day/night.

This is where we're at, gotta be at least 8-10 days, kids' first day or two of school be damned. That & I likely wouldn't be able to afford this one. I agree it's worth more being able to fly direct to/from DSM, but don't think I'd pay 2x+ what other options are.

I'm in the same boat. The current packages are a bit steep for us to make the leap. Especially with a kid that will be one at the time.

Yeah, we'll have a freshly turned 2 year old at that point but wouldn't bring her with.
