Won't matter for these rankings, but Duke has a guy with injury expected for several weeks:

I don't watch Duke games but evidently he's a defensive specialist (only 2.5 points per game, but plays nearly 18 minutes per game).

For what it's worth, here's how the reddit r/CollegeBasketball user poll went:

1. Auburn (84) | 2266

2. Iowa State (1) | 2133

3. Duke (6) | 2083

4. Alabama | 1959

5. Florida | 1912

6. Tennessee | 1828

7. Marquette | 1744

8. Kentucky | 1501

9. Kansas | 1465

10. Houston | 1367

Has to be #2 and with Broome out for a while #1 is looking realistic soon if they can run the gauntlet this week. A #1 Iowa State basketball team, never thought I'd see that in my lifetime but it's within the realm of possibility now.

We are Iowa State, so I would expect Duke to pass us because there is no doubt ESPN has been sucking Duke off for the nation to see like they always do.

Duke has a cakewalk to a 1-seed. They're genuinely good (and fun to watch) and they're going to run through what the ACC has become.
Yep, and on that note, what happened to the ACC? This was THE power conference in basketball for decades along with the Big East before the Big East dissolved even up until about 5 years ago or so then it's all kind of fallen apart since then. They're almost as bad as ACC football is now, didn't see that coming.

The next two games are big. Our conference schedule is top-heavy this year. We should be favored heavily in both games, but losing to KU under any circumstances is never a big surprise, and West Virginia is a tough road game. If we manage to get through that, then you're 6-0 in league play and of the remaining 14 games, there's only maybe three I look at and say "That's probably going to be a loss" (at Arizona, at KU, at Houston).
