***Official Kansas Must Be Destroyed Thread***

I enjoy the KU fan take that they have an "elite" defense. Helps that they've only allowed 66 2nd half points since starting conference play.

"ISU has never seen a defense like KU's"

False, Auburn was pretty good. I think the bigger issue for KU is that they havent yet seen an offense like ISU's

Have to imagine the only person tenting outside carver is keith murphy, waiting for the second coming of CC.

To get this thread back on point, **** KU

I think we're a bad matchup for them this year. But also won't be surprised if we lose, it's still KU after all. They will still get the KU Traveling Whistle as well.

These threads were mostly positive on us. I think the “normal” college basketball world is in agreement we are a really, really good team. Maybe I didn’t read enough to get to the ZRF posts…..
No I go to a lot of different forums and honestly it seems to be the same consensus. We are the team to beat in the b12

The matchup is great for us in my opinion. It’s another year with this core where Bill Self doesn’t have several guards that just get downhill and attack the paint and put pressure on the rim like older vintage Kansas teams.

Just face guard Mayo, clog the paint and make their weaker guards beat you as they aren’t a great 3 point shooting team. Throw body after body on Hunter Dickinson to wear him down and frustrate him, he is a bully against weaker teams, but when he faces real competition, he is soft.

Rebound, Physical defense, get back in transition, attack the paint and put pressure on the rim like old Kansas teams used to do to everybody. Easy Dubs
Yes and if you frustrate him enough he will start doing things flagrant foul worthy. Now if the officials will call them is another story.

Kansas beat the #7 ranked KenPom offense in Duke and held them to 72 points. Iowa State is the #6 ranked KenPom offense. Albeit they played Duke much earlier in the year and on a neutral court I believe. Don't get me wrong, I think we have the better team and Hilton will be electric. I hope the home crowd and our pressure defense forces Kansas to speed up the tempo of the game. The higher scoring the game the better. Kansas is not going to win a game against us that gets into the high 70's or 80's. They do not have as much offensive firepower.
