Has the rot started to creep in?

When you start a thread with the title “Has the Rot started to set in” , you are not giving constructive criticism.

We need to be able to criticize Campbell and Co without being labeled a rotter.

I don't want Campbell gone and nobody should, but the last 2 or 3 games have been crap from this coaching staff. Bad game plan, seemingly dis-interested team, limited to no adjustments... all of this with a LOT on the line late in the season. Injuries or not, at least try something different.
When I got down to “seemingly dis-interested team”, I realized that I no longer had inside sources to verify the motivation of the team.

Disinterested dudes playing with no shoulder and a cast on the arm. wtf are you talking about disinterested?
Campbell has only had a team quit on him for one game that I can remember, TCU 2022. CPR teams would be down 50+ on a pretty regular basis. I’d love to see the difference in 3+ score losses from Campbell to CPR

The last few games imo ISU has looked how they have tended to look often under CMC for pace of play, being sloppy etc.

They also tend to come out and play a decent game just when things aren't going well.

We'll see if tomorrow is the case.

Sorry but any team down 50-60% of their starters on one side of the ball are eventually going to start hitting a wall.

What would you have them do different? You got safeties who need to support linebackers, cuz the linebackers are a bunch of back ups to back ups. You get hit with big plays cuz guys are up supporting or at least leaning that.

Now throw in the fact the o-lines, are getting to our linebackers on running plays cuz D line is ultra thin. Big running plays.

Kansas had 200 yards of offense on 6 plays. They tried things and got burnt

Utah has had a bunch of injuries and it shows. They were picked to win the league.

Sometimes you cannot make chicken salad out of chicken bleep.

No he did not. If Mac played percentages he would have centered the ball in the middle of the field on the third run. Eliminate the angle which actually makes your field goal more difficult. Ferentz usually always centers the ball for his FG kicker. Mac messed up.
The wind was from the right hard.

And they usually ask the FG kicker where he wants it.

The next time I see Coach Mac I’ll ask him.

It was, but Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State that year were all better than anyone we’ve played this year.

We were whipped by Nebraska and Iowa in blowouts. Miracle game against Nebraska with all the turnovers and only won 9-7. Name good teams the 2009 actually won.

I agree various parts of the game plans and lack of adjustments the last few weeks is disappointing. But it's not like other teams are just sitting stagnant waiting for us to beat them, they're creating game plans to try to win too, and sometimes you just get bested.

To say the team is disinterested is just stupid. Freyler by all accounts should be medically retired yet he's out there throwing his body around for the team. Rocco is running around like a mad man trying to keep plays alive. The team is 7-2 with a clear shot at the big 12 championship game, I can guarantee you they are not disinterested. The fact of the matter is we're not leagues above anyone in terms of talent, and when the margins are thin like they are, you're bound to just get beaten sometimes.

Lmao, it was superior. I just listed 3 teams better than anyone on this years. We beat Nebraska that year, so 1. 1 more than this year.

When did we play Texas and Oklahoma? Four non conference games is a big advantage

Did we play them this year? Also Houston is basically a low to mid level MAC team so that was like an added non conference game.

Campbell played Texas and Oklahoma and every conference opponent when the Big 12 had 10 members. We play 3 non conference games now. And one is Iowa.
We play in the Big 12 Conference. We play 9 conference games.

We were just talking this year. Anyways, 2009 was the only year Rhoads didn’t face Texas or OU.
