Seems about right. There will be bets on Tyson for nostalgia purposes. But, considering how badly his last comeback went, this one shouldn’t last long.

I guess Jake Paul thinks fighting a 58 year old former champion is going to somehow make him look like a legitimate fighter. I just assume Mike is making a real nice payday on this.

He's a f*cking joke. JP has fought one legit boxer currently in his prime (although even in his prime he's not all that good) and he lost. Paul's schtick is finding big names to come in with one hand tied behind their back. Been a boxing fan all my life and I'm not watching this stupidity.

Not sure he cares about that, he's making millions.

The marketing for this is starting to get me wanting to watch this...somehow many of my FB Reels as of Monday have been related to this fight. I don't believe I've shown any online interest in boxing or MMA, yet I've been successfully targeted.

I really don't like Jake Paul, so I want to see Tyson take him down. There is no way Tyson has enough speed/stamina left to do so though. Also, LOL for all the Paul statements saying this will legitimatize him in the boxing world.

Testifying
Rumors are $20 mil for Tyson, $40 mil for Paul?

I'm sure Mike is willing to take a dive for $20 mil.

I'm not sure Mike has the mindset to be able to take a dive in a fight. Rogan has always said Mike is the reason he bought a bigger table for his podcast studio. He had him on before training and then when he was training for the Roy Jones Jr fight. When he's training he turns into a maniac. Tyson even admits he does and has to separate himself from certain things and people in his life while it's going on. It's pretty obvious from the pics and vids that he's taking this seriously.

Jake Paul seems like a massive dipstick and I hope he gets killed but I doubt it. At the same time, he’s pretty freaking smart that he’s figured out this cheat code to fight rando non-traditional guys for boo-koo bucks. He figured out people will pay a premium for this and is exploiting it.

There’s an old Dan Patrick show interview where DP was interviewing him and it was clear Mike was eating a bowl of cereal on the phone talking about his weed farms or something. It was hilarious.

Mike seems like a genuinely hilarious and laid back dude when he's not fighting. He's an absolute animal when he is though.

From USA Today on the rules

Both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves instead of the standard 10-ounce gloves typically used by heavyweight fighters. These conditions are significant as they will influence the pace and strategy of the fight.

Additionally, each round will last two minutes rather than the usual three minutes, and the fight will consist of eight rounds instead of the standard 10 or 12.
