Mike Tyson to fight Jake Paul

Not a boxing fan myself but the sport is totally dead that watching the guy in red shorts is its main draw. In the 90s I would be riveted if i happend to have been around a pay per view fight, a friend's dad had a few Holyfield fights and we watched with intrigue.

He's such a clown. A rich one that knows how to translate douchbaggery into dollars. But that was just embarssing. How many times was he on the mat holding Joshua's legs? Getting the $hit beat out of him and still taunting.

Not sure but didn't the guy who won sort of go easy on him? What was with the knee grab ? Never saw boxers do that before.

This is what you do when you’re above average but not peofessional level and get in the ring with someone that you’re just overmatched by

I feel like eventually people will lose interest in the gimmick. I figure he's got one more big payday when he fights a real boxer and gets his ass kicked and then he'll move on to other dumb influencer stuff.
So what dumb influencer thing will he do next?

And that KO was WITH Joshua not going 100% at him. Would've killed the guy.

I saw someone online point out the absurdity that he was going to fight someone who was 135 lbs and then fought a 250 lb guy…shows how absurd the entire thing is.

This was the first thing where he fought a legit person, not over the hill, in their own discipline, so I assume it goes back to weird gimmicks.

As a lifelong NBA fan I hate that the league is flirting with the “basketball influencer” versions of this guy. Just stupid, if that’s the future of basketball fans I’d rather the global popularity grows slightly slower than it has been.
