Asking again: Has the rot started to set in?

Has the rot started to creep in?

I’ve asked the same question.

No response.

Probably Dana Holgorsen at the top?

I always laugh at the people that get caught up in the cult of personality with coaches. Especially in this day and age. It’s not about who we could get or who we would get. It’s just about trying. It also depends on what you want to do. The people that tout the “history” and being satisfied losing to the Ohio’s and Memphis’s of the world and making meaningless bowl games are the ones that ruin it. Until eventually it dwindles to a level where they have to go, and they will do the same thing with the next coach because it’s our coach.

We are mediocre.
Why say this now? Are you doom and gloom? Then don't say this sh!!.

Say it, if you have to, if we lose the next 3, or even 2 out of the next 3. Don't say it now! Cripes. We are 7-2.

Why don't we see how the next 3 games shake out. Fair?

20 years from now Campbell will leave and this guy will be "See! See! I told you! I was RIGHT all along!"

The year is 2044. Iowa State never won a Conference Championship, when the Big 12 was part of the P4 or--now--the G8. The O-line is still terrible. Doctors have begun testing for dementia in former NFL players by seeing whether they can correctly guess ISU's next play based on the down and the players on the field. Losing games due to wasting timeouts and mismanaging the clock is now colloquially known as "pulling a Campbell."

Nobody was satisfied with those losses.

They just understand that **** happens and a revolving door at a historically low end football program won't help.

That’s a lot of words with absolutely no plan of action of what you’d do. Only thing worse than a whiner is a whiner with no plan

What was the answer to that question 10 years ago? It was your lord and savior Matt Campbell. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Looking at the whole history of iowa state football - I don't know how anyone can not think what Matt Campbell has done here has been, virtually, what everyone would say is impossible.

The last 10 years has been the greatest 10 year period ever.

Your answer is to tear it all down and start over? What?

I wish people on either side of this "rot" debate could wait until the season is over at least. CMC is not getting fired after this season regardless, so it's moot. Plenty of time to talk about whether or not his seat should be hot after we actually know what happens this season.
