This will be so much better! If you recall, it felt like you were watching their games from a blimp.
That second image is giving high school gym now.
tightly contested game with 2 mins left in the second half.
Given the perspective, it looks like they only moved the camera 5 rows in. I'd love to know what architectural change they made or did they just put a boom on the camera.
I saw a little bit of a Baylor home game last season and I don't know why everyone lost their minds over it.
Complaining is the #1 hobby in the country, surprisingly origami is a close second.
This gym would not work at Iowa State because we have fans come out and sell out our 14k plus arena. I get why Baylor did it though. Tarps get expensive for empty seats.
A P4 team that gets to the Final 4 plays in a 7500 seat arena. Embarrassing.
Adding to this, Fertitta Center (Houston) only seats 7,035 and Maples Pavilion (Stanford) only seats 7,233. TCU, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Auburn, UCF, Oregon State, and Washington all have arenas at or under 10,000 as well.
Build the stadium that makes sense, if you're teams only get 7,500 attendance it'd be dumb to build a 10 or 12k seat stadium.
Much better to have a full building and build demand than to be eating 3000 emptys every night.
Plus, this is the way of the future. Smaller buildings with more amenities and higher ticket prices.
