Linebacker Injury Status?

There's been a couple people saying this, but I've never read a quote to that effect. Was it on the call in show or something?
Everything I read in the week or so after the injury was timeline unknow, maybe back at the end of the year then nothing since. Having said that, its probably safe to assume he's out for the year.
I thought about digging back through all of the audio and video files, but that’s an endless rat’s nest, that would require a lot of listening to catch one sentence.

Is Barnes' natural position Mike?
Brezina was doing great, but does getting Brezina back to SAM prob means both guys are playing their natural positions? Does it avoid a concern with Barnes in some of the pass coverage responsibilities if he's at the SAM? Not that UCF passed much.
Given the injuries to other key players I’d be okay with remaking this the general injuries update thread, not just LBs.
Brezina started out at Sam through summer drills, and only moved to Mike when Bacon was hurt. I’d say it’s where they want him.
Of course, that’s also where Barnes started out. He just really, really seems to be thriving at Mike.

Chris Williams said he saw him on the sideline ready to go in the 2nd half.
I remember when I was in grad school seeing Gene Williams in a boot and on crutches on campus during the week, and yet he would show up and start on Saturdays!
Not sure if this is still the case, but it used to be pretty common to have players (football and basketball) to wear a walking boot all week and still play the next game. I'm guessing this was just to help the foot/ankle heal a bit quicker.
Watching Gene on campus was slow motion. He looked like he was hardly able to walk, then showed up on Saturdays and kicked serious butt.
I remember CBS doing an interview with Jerome Bettis at his home during his last season. The Bus could barely get up and down the stairs in his home and was still playing on Sundays. It was very eye-opening the toll that football takes on these players' bodies.
Imming still isn’t back at full speed from missing last fall.
Besides, if Willich plays in December, it blows his chance at a possible medical hardship.
I remember seeing Willie Roaf walk and thought it was wild he was the best LT in the NFL.
