Do hard and soft sell just one time boost or if you keep it multiple weeks it boosts more?
I don't know the answer exactly, but I keep it on as I'm afraid if I go from Soft Sell backwards to Friends and Family the recruit will think I care less and I'll lose ground on the inevitable blue blood school late push.

Is there a mass substitution option? I had a couple games early where I would have liked to have put in the 2nd string but I couldn't figure out how to do it and just had to sub out guys individually. I've heard others stay the game automatically put in the 2nd string, but I didn't have that experience.

As an aside, I like the wear-and-tear part of the game. It's more realistic to have to think about workload and to make sure you have quality depth. I'm at Week 7 in my first year and I'm already seeing Sama subbed off quite a bit to avoid injury.
Nope :(

Also I need 3 Left Guards in this class but the LG prospects available stink. There are three solid Right Guard prospects so I'm recruiting the RGs and I'll switch one or two to LG in the off season for depth chart balance.

I just get the best guards/tackles/LB’s I can get and switch them after the season.

I have two top ten rated centers with high interest. One is a four star gem. Do you think they'd make a good switch to guard?

Yes. Tackle might be more of a stretch but probably still fine. I'm even seeing some of my good DE's having good overalls for OLB's in ISU's scheme.

I think the team needs needs to be modifiable some way. Maybe show suggestions but also let the user customize their needs.

Anybody ever try taking a worse job? I was going to leave Iowa State after my reign of terror on the Big 12 but it won’t let me take the Ball State job.

I started out as OC for Tulane (love those uniforms). Won the AAC and lost to UGA in the CFP. Playing on varsity.

I screwed up the coaching carousel. Those jobs disappear from one week to next, so I had planned to take one but it was gone after I “advanced week”. Currently in year 2 at Tulane and will bolt for OC at larger school if possible.

Recruiting tip: get a pen and paper if you need to. It helps to see what team needs are while you’re sorting the prospect list. There’s good tips in this thread I will replicate in future.

I just began messing with the game last night (after spending the weekend in Ames, as my daughter was married on campus, woohoo). Looking forward to doing a dynasty (haven't played a PS football game in eight years), but no way I'm gonna start off with ISU, wanna get my feet wet with a lesser program, which brings me to the question I have for you guys.....

Not that I would automatically go this route but....What school do you think would be the most challenging one to go with, for recruiting purposes? I have my guess but wanna see what others think.

If you want really hard: Kennesaw State, South Alabama, Jacksonville State

If you want spicy, fun underdogs: App State, Tulane, James Madison, Navy

#1 in both polls, #6 seed for the playoffs.
Did you not win your conference? Because the top 4 seeds all are supposed to go to the top ranked conference champs but I've noticed the CFP polls have been pretty bad consistently in mine.

I did. It looks like I'm seeded 2nd but ranked 6th in the CFP polls.

Looks like the quarterfinals involve Ohio State-Michigan and Notre Dame-Miami matchups.

There's definitely some goofy things they have set up on the back end that doesn't make sense. Halfway through a season there were four Notre Dame centers in the running for the best center award and two were redshirting. I'm hoping they clean up some of the logic across the board just for a little more realism.

I noticed that they must weigh TFL's a ton when it comes to awards. I usually control Kenard Snyder on D and he won DPOY in the first year, and TFL's were the only stat that was exceptional.
