So I'm sure this has been said somewhere, but while I'm disheartened by the way realignment is shaking out for Wazzu and Oregon State (because I think if the chips fell a little differently, that's us and KSU), I'm proud of the Big XII for refusing to die and driving the knife into the PAC's heart (because they tried damn hard to do it to us in 2009/10).

Wazzu and Oregon State were fine letting the Irate 8 twist in the wind when OUT happened.

Sucks for Wazzu and O. State but better them than us, if one thing everyone should understand by now is that there is no loyalty to the conference. Its all dollars and cents, and if you can get a better deal in a wealthy conference, you better do it. Everyone is out for themselves.

Wazzu and Oregon St got royally screwed by their soon to be conference-mates, specifically USC. I'd think they would be two of the PAC schools that might have had an eye down the road, and a bigger PAC would have put them in a better position. Then again, they hadn't been living in perpetual fear of being left out of power conference structure for the better part of 15 years.

Mostly, I'm proud of how the Angry 8 stuck together rather than diving for crumbs ESPN was throwing.

Why would either FSU or Clemson join the B12 when they are going to get offers from the SEC or B10? They are not breaking up the ACC to join the B12, not happening.
Big12 is the third option. Current situation is the worst one to be in. But yes if the B1G or SEC take them, that’s where they are going.
