Excellent match.. loved hearing the Cyclone faithful explode in cheer when he got that takedown.
Team score after the completion of the semi-final round:

Wow, OSU with 8 points. I knew they were down this year but I didn't think they were that down.
Thoughts after this round:
1. We're at a pretty neutral position from a seeding standpoint. We got one minor upset at 125 with Clark, and we suffered a minor upset at 165 with Reader.
2. It would be nice to see our wrestleback guys - Sanderson, Reader, and Burke finish strong and gain some momentum heading into the NCAAs.
3. Seven guys in the championship is a nice number. It would have been nice to get some bonus points during the opening round, but a win is a win.
4. I hope our guys in the championship round come out wrestling aggresive. The knock on this team, particularly at last year's NCAAs and this year's Midlands, is that they seem to get tentative when it matters most. I'm hoping we can come away with at least three or four B12 champions.

i know they have at least one stud coming in next year at 149, possible AA in his first year. Albert white from NIACC, national juco champ at 149 last year and he is taking a redshirt this year so he has 3 to wrestle at okie state. they stole him from U of IL late, where it was widely accepted he would go. I was hoping he would come here and compete with mueller as he was ward's HS teammate, and a 4time state champ which doesnt happen in IL like it does in iowa.
We are going to struggle in two weeks against iowa for that very reason.

I hope Readers opponent likes the taste of mat because he is getting a mouthful of it right now. end of the 1st and Reader is up 2 to 0.
