Disappointed in the draw, but if we can beat Baylor and Houston by 20-30 points we should be able to get thru this to meet UCONN in the elite 8, and jump the ball up and see what happens

Now that I’ve had time to calm down. I’m just happy we are a 2 seed in Omaha. This team can guard anybody and if we keep our current trajectory, the sky is the limit. None of these teams should scare us. Also, the bracket may look scary, but it ends up being complete chaos every year. I’m sure there will be some upsets. Get to Omaha! Go State!

this goes completely against the committee’s stated goal of not putting top seeds at a geographic disadvantage. Our first two possible opponents are closer to Omaha than ISU is. I fully expected to see Nebraska in that bracket.

2) Conference Tournaments don't matter at all

The committee has to be sending a message about non conference strength of scheduling.

Most schools with a bad sos are being 1 seed line under rated

It just doesn't make any sense lol ... How does overall SOS not matter to these guys?!

We got put in a tournament that didn’t end up having great teams aside from us; we got matched up with DePaul which is garbage; Iowa sucked, out of our control. What does scheduling one more neutral game against a P6 team really matter? The committee went out of its way to make sure they wouldn’t face heat from media and psycho blue blood fans. Its ******** plain and simple.

Look, I'm going to ***** about this draw for the rest of the night. It's crap and it's OK to admit it is crap.

That being said, getting a 2 seed is really, really great! If we play like we are capable of, we can win some games. If we play like we did last week, we'll lose.
