Uhhh nope. If anything that’s a block, but I don’t think it’s either. A good no call there. There was zero extension from that spot on in your screen grab. Yet again displaying how much of an idiot you are on here and yet you think you are so smart. What’s it like to know everyone on these boards laughs at you and dislikes you?
Every time I watch Texas I wonder why the announcers pronounce Abmas “Absmas” or “Asbmas”. Where does that extra s come from?
I think they are the best team in the conference, but I don't see them going any better than 13-5 or 14-4 (probably the former). That will probably be enough to win or tie for the regular season championship.Houston is tough as hell. I remember a few on here clamoring they were in for a reality check after we beat them. Turns out they are just fine. Long way to go, but they are the best team in the conference when they bring their A game.
Man, is Texas even a tournament team? I guess they will get a lot of chances to get good wins but man, that's 3 home losses, really poorly coached, and I'm not sure they have more than 4 or 5 wins left in that schedule. Isu game down there is a must win for them.
I only disagree because I don’t think he was in legal guarding position. So we both see it differently and hence why an official might also see it differently. If Texas is in a legal guarding position, Houston cannot move them, even with no extension. That happened, Houston player initiated contact. It was a missed call and should have been a charge.
The "B" initially was an eszett, which has hard "s" sound in German. That's the basic explanation.A Every time I watch Texas I wonder why the announcers pronounce Abmas “Absmas” or “Asbmas”. Where does that extra s come from?
So his name is actually "Assmas"?The "B" initially was an eszett, which has hard "s" sound in German. That's the basic explanation.
Almost worthy of a vanity plate. So his name is actually "Assmas"?
@cyclones500 Please note for quarterly best post wrap up.They’re mistaking the $ for an extra S.
When I think of it in context of “who can legitimately run off 6 wins in a row against good teams on neutral floors?” Houston is definitely on that short list.Houston is just a bunch of grown ass men. I'll be pretty surprised if they aren't in the Final Four barring injury.
Also, Quarterfinal Thursday in KC is going to be better than any NCAA First Round site this year. Going to be 4 incredibly high level games.
Houston has 5 fourth year seniors and 1 super senior (Dunn). 4 out of top 5 players are seniors. I will be happy after next season when you no longer have the Covid year to contend with and will know when players eligibility is up. If all six leave (I doubt it), they will be in complete rebuild (but with portal, are you ever not in rebuild?).Houston is just a bunch of grown ass men. I'll be pretty surprised if they aren't in the Final Four barring injury.

You had 3 refs that have all worked multiple Final Fours last night and will be on the short list again so I don't think that will be a huge issue for them. They're naturally going to be a high foul rate team. When I think of it in context of “who can legitimately run off 6 wins in a row against good teams on neutral floors?” Houston is definitely on that short list.
Two things I worry about with them - especially after watching last night.
First, their offense can go stagnant. The last few minutes and regulation their points were almost exclusively off free throws and our backs. They struggled to get good looks and TX is not that great of a defensive team.
Second, their physical style of play fits Big 12 well but don’t know how that translates in the tourney when you get non conference refs. I think they had one starter foul out late regulation and another early in OT despite refs letting a good amount of stuff go.
The conference race is essentially over if they win at the Phog this weekend.
They wont lose at home and they already have 2 really tough road wins. The formula for winning the Big 12 is go 9-0 or 8-1 at home, and be 4-5 or 5-4 on the road and they are already halfway there on the road.
